Looks like the UK will be the first to see Sony’s new HDD camcorder. An April launch date was just confirmed, which will put it a couple months before the US model’s summer release. Apparently the UK model is called the DCR-SR90, but features the same specifications as the DCR-SR100 US model. For those of you who haven’t heard, the camcorder features a 30 Gb hard drive, 10x optical zoom, 2.7″ screen, and a 3 megapixel CCD.
