logotoponly.gifEditshare is set to unveil the latest version of its EditShare software at NAB 2006. EditShare 4.0 now adds support for uncompressed HD, faster hardware, larger hard drives, and a new scalable architecture. For anyone not familiar with the software, EditShare allows large groups of users to effectively and efficiently collaberate on projects by sharing a pool of media files. Editshare ensures that unauthorized users cannot interfere with files, and yet allows two editors to be working on the same project simultaneously.
