Fujinon is going to be introducing a new addition to its line of 2/3-inch HD ENG/EFP lenses at NAB in April. The HA16X6.3ERM (catchy name) is designed to be an all-in-one lens for production crews. It combines a wide angle of 6.3mm with a 202mm (16x) telephoto focal length.

“This is the first lens to combine wide angle with such a high (16X) magnification,” said Dave Waddell, Marketing Manager, Fujinon’s Broadcast and Communications Product Division. “This allows news and production shooters to carry just one lens for all kinds of shooting. Adding the wider angle to this lens makes it an outstanding choice for news and production. It will change the way most news crews operate by giving them a complete lens (wide and telephoto) in one package.”
