The SC-X210L will be released sometime this month from Samsung. Not my favorite camcorder manufacturer but they make some good stuff every once in a while. The SC-X210L boasts 1GB of built-in memory (expandable with SD memory to 3GB), 10x optical zoom, and a 1/6″ CCD imager. The main thing most people will be excited about is the external camera module that can mounted as a headcam for sports situations.

The SC-X210L is the upgrade to the SC-X105L, another slim camcorder that had many of the same features. Bear in mind that these camcorders are not going to be good for everyday family use. I have personal experience with a few people who returned the SC-X105L to wherever they bought it at because they were led to believe, or led themselves to believe, that it had great quality. Sportsfans go crazy, but average buyer beware.
