img486.jpgToshiba announced today that they are going to acquire Westinghouse for $5.4 billion. Although, according to the Associated Press article, the move is mainly to acquire the nuclear plant building component of Westinghouse, this will hopefully bode well for their production of LCD screens. I’ve never really been a fan of Westinghouse LCDs because they are usually cheaper in price (good) but also lower in quality (bad) than other manufacturers.
