If you’re a do-it-yourself kind of person, or just don’t have the money to throw into a professional steadicam, then this article is for you. A Fellow videographer has posted a DIY article over at Makezine on how to make your own steadicam. The whole setup will cost you no more t\han $40, and it looks like a very usable, comfortable piece of equipment. However, I usually break more things than I fix, so I’ll leave it to you to actually go out and try to make this.
