This is a very useful device that I’ve never seen before. Tritton Technologies’ SEE2 USB-to-SVGA adapter allows you to extend or mirror your desktop display to another monitor via one USB 2.0 port.
It supports color depths up to 32-bit, and standard resolutions up to 1280×1024 (32-bit not available at this resolution). I wonder if you can hook up more than one of these adapters at the same time and have multi-monitor support for up to X number of displays? Anyway, the Tritton’s SEE2 USB-to-VGA adapter looks like it retails for about $75-80.
