This is a link to a fake video iPod … video. I thought I’d post it because it’s a good example of how easy it is to fake video these days. With some simple production techniques and a good compositing program, anyone with the necessary knowledge can make a believable fake. Yes, this video is not anywhere near perfect (note motion tracking errors), but I did like the light glare effect. There are obviously other really good/better video fakes out there, but iPods are close to my heart (because I own one), so I thought I’d share it.
