Three new digital camcorder reviews over at CCInfo for you to peruse. The JVC-MG37, the Sony DCR-DVD405, and the Canon Elura 100. Here are the bottom lines:

A good buy for convenience sake, but not a major improvement over the model it is replacing. If your goal is to go straight to DVD, CCInfo suggests a DVD camcorder over the GZ-MG37. Read the full review

Too similar to the DCR-DVD505 to make up for the $200 difference. Panasonic’s DVD camcorder’s are probably a better choice, but for Sony fans the DCR-405 is the way to go. Read the full review

Canon-ZR500-vanity-web.jpg Canon Elura 100 -

A gem for the $399 price tag. The Elura 100 includes analog and microphone input. It also features an enclosed battery cavity, which disallows extended life batteries, but the included battery last for 2.5 hours. Also, it is top-loading, my personal favorite. Read the full review
