toshibaqosmio.JPGIt’s happy times for the UK in terms of Hi-def DVD announcements as Toshiba has announced the first PC with an HD DVD drive. Toshiba’s Qosmio G30 will debut in April at a list price of £2300, or about $4,000. It comes equipped with the usual TV tuner and DVR (which can record to a pair of 120GB hard drives), and runs on Windows Media Center Edition. The display is 17″ and capable of 1080p resolution from the 256MB graphics card.
