ResPower, an on-demand graphics rendering company, has announced a brand new pricing system that will allow subscribers to use their render farm for a flat monthly fee. There is no yearly contract and the flat fee provides unlimited access. ResPower’s render farm consists of over 730 nodes with over 3,300 GHz of power.
Monthly fees are based on the engine you need to use to render:
* Blender - as little as $20 depending on frame time limits.
* 3ds Max Scanline, Vray, finalRender, or Brazil - $2000.
* Maya Software, Maya Vector - $2000.
* Lightwave, all versions - $2000.
* Vue, all versions - $2000.
Makes me want to make a whole bunch of random Lightwave projects and sign up, just to see a 38 hour project from my computer render in under 10 minutes. Check out their website for more information and to see their current queue.
