So it looks like a company called Colorspace Inc. is putting together what may become a competitor to RED. All we know right now, until someone visits their booth at NAB, is that Colorspace Inc. is going to announce prices and information on two new camcorders. One will feature a 35mm sized imager, and will record at 2k resolution. The other will record at 1k and feature a 16mm size imager.
Don’t hold your breath yet, because according to the website, “What is Colorspace? Colorspace is an idea…” Great…
