Along with the announcement of their new AJ-HDX900 camcorder comes the announcement of the new Panasonic AK-HC1500G. Panasonic touts it as the “Industry’s First Compact, Switchable 1080i/720p HD Camera.” It features 3 CCDs at 2/3″ each, and besides the fact that it does 1080i and 720p there isn’t too much else that’s worth going crazy over.

It will be available very soon for a suggested price of $19,950.
