16×9 Inc. has released a new line of camcorder bags designed for professional camcorders such as the Panasonic HVX200, Sony HVR-Z1U, JVC GY-HD100U, and Canon XL-H1. The bags are designed for getting the camcorders in and out quickly without having to take off important accessories like the mattebox.
From the press release:
This lightweight, padded professional camera carrier employs an exterior layer of extra heavy duty waterproof Cordura to ensure optimal equipment protection. Its top-front tongue panel unzips smoothly for quick access to a spacious central compartment. Inside, there is ample space for securing a camcorder without disturbing the mic, viewfinder, or mattebox system. A secondary anterior chamber is ideal for holding lenses, filters, batteries, and more. Once in place, contents are protected on all sides by layers of brightly colored cushioned fabric. Interior front and rear mesh dividers and exterior side pockets offer additional storage for accessories. The bag’s adjustable ergonomic padded shoulder strap and interlock tote handle provide for comfortable, strain-free carrying.
These cases are available in two sizes, depending on what size camcorder you are using. The large version costs $249 and is made especially for the JVC GY-HD100U and the Canon XL H1. The smaller version is priced at $220 and fits the Panasonic HVX200 and Sony HVR-Z1U.
