I don’t usually post about projectors, but the four projectors from Digital Projection International caught my eye. Why? All four of these projectors, including the just announced HIGHlite 14000HD, output a 2048 x 1080 native resolution picture. Yes, that’s 2K x 1K of pure pixel sweetness.

The HIGHlite 14000HD features liquid cooling for quiet operation, a 2000:1 contrast ratio, and a whopping 14,000 ANSI lumens. It will begin shipping in the third quarter of this year. Pricing is going to be announced at INFOCOMM early this month. You can expect it to cost a pretty penny.
