marketing.jpgThere is a great post at Celluloid Eyes regarding marketing a low-budget (or any, for that matter) Indie film. What’s nice is that it is written from the perspective of someone who is trying to write an article that mentions or promotes your movie, rather than from someone on the production side of the film.

The main gist is that you absolutely, positively must have a website, even if it is just something simple, and a complete IMDB listing is very helpful as well. Photos from the shoot, actor and crew bios/credits, plot summary, and contact info are essential components. If you are an Indie filmmaker, and especially if you are going to be in any major film festival, this is a must read.
