EventDV is back with their series entitled the “HDV Camcorder Showdown.” Part 1 covered features and usability, but part 2 covers the stuff we really care about: image quality. Again, the comparison is between the Canon XL H1, the JVC HD100, and the Sony FX1/Z1U.
This review is very much worth taking a peek at. It is easy to read and has a ton of pictures for us visual people. Everything is side-by-side and, though I wish the samples were higher resolution, the comparisons are easy to make.
Who wins out over all the rest? Conclusions are made but you will have to read it for yourself to find out.
