sdhc.jpgPanasonic has made a couple big announcements, the first of which is their new SDHC SD cards. These class 2 cards will be shipped in 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, and 4GB and will sustain data transfer rates of 2MB/second (16Mbps). These new cards will take away the 2GB limits seen on devices today, and will pave the way for even higher capacity SD cards. A SDHC card reader will be released by Maxell sometime next month.

On the heels of this, Panasonic has also announced their new SDR-S200 digital camcorder.
