The Sony DVD505 is one of the most expensive DVD camcorders on the market right now, but is it really worth the money? PC Magazine has just posted their own Sony DVD505 review and it’s worth a read if you are looking at buying this camcorder.
Basically the review sings praises of the DVD505 regarding pretty much all of its aspects. The only thing the reviewer really didn’t like was the quality of the still shots, which were soft and muted. Other than that it looks like this is one camcorder that will be hard to beat when it comes to video quality, which the review says comes “very close” to MiniDV quality.
