Sony’s DVD105 is the lowest-priced MiniDVD model out this year. It packs a 20x optical zoom, 2.5 inch LCD, and a 1/6″ CCD with 340K effective pixels. CamcorderInfo has their Sony DVD105 review posted for your reading pleasure.
Little has changed since last year’s Sony DVD92 in terms of image quality. CCInfo found that the DVD105 was barely sharper, but that color accuracy was exactly the same. Other differences between the DVD92 and DVD105 are the included software, the body design, and a color viewfinder.
The DVD105 also scored the lowest for video performance when compared to other comparable DVD camcorders. CamcorderInfo suggests the DVD205, which packs a slightly larger sensor among other small improvements, if you have a little extra to spend and want to stick with Sony.
