The popularity of the new Sony HDR-HC3 continues to grow, and TrustedReview has their own HC3 review online. It is actually of the HDR-HC3E, which is the UK version of the camcorder. The review was much like all the others we’ve seen so far, but here are a couple of the highlights.

The review compared the Sony HC1 and the Sony HC3 against each other and found much of the obvious. The HDR-HC3 lacks most of the manual controls found on the HC1, which other reviews have been quick to point out. However, the review found that the HC3 performed better in low light than the HC1, with less noise and more accurate colors.

So the Sony HC3 may actually have better video than the HC1 despite the fact that it is smaller and less professional. Good news for “Easy” button consumers.
