Yearning for an update on RED? Well, it appears that RED finally has some test images from a full size sensor, but will be waiting to unveil them until the Fall. From the DVXUser forum post:

We stated before that we had images from a “test slice” that proved the design of our sensor. Now we have images from a full size sensor. We still have a long way to go, but there is considerable celebration in our camp.

According to this post at DVInfo.net, there has also been a redesign of the body. Keep your hopes up that RED can deliver everything they are promising.
