Samsung has never really been at the top of anyone’s list when it comes to buying camcorders. They may make great TVs, among other things, but camcorders are not their strong suit. CamcorderInfo’s Samsung SC-D365 review definitely backs up this assertion. When a review tells you not to buy a camcorder in the very first paragraph, you know it’s bad.
The Samsung SC-D365 records onto MiniDV tapes and features a 1/6″ CCD, 33x optical zoom, and 2.7″ widescreen LCD. The video performance is just ugly, judging from CCInfo’s test pictures. The colors are muted and sharpness just isn’t there.
I’d say the only redeeming thing about the SC-D365 is that it features a microphone input. Other than that, you’ll probably want to save your money and buy something else.
