Samsung has just announced the SC-X210WL and SC-X205WL sports camcorders, which were hinted at earlier this year. Extreme sports fans will drool over the new wireless capabilities that will allow video from the helmet cam to be transmitted to the main unit from up to 15 feet away.

Like their predecessors the Samsung SC-X205WL and SC-X210WL record onto SD cards. 512MB and 1GB of built-in memory, respectively, are also included. The camcorders feature the same 2.0″ LCD and an “enhanced” 10x optical zoom. Samsung also says they have improved the battery life by over 30%.

Video from the headcam is transmitted wirelessly RF signal. An armband and headcam are also included with the camcorder for those rough situations.

The Samsung SC-X205WL and SC-X210WL can also act as MP3 players and voice recorders. They will both be available in September; the SC-X205WL for $579 and the SC-X210WL for $679.
