Sony’s first HDD digital camcorder is definitely one of the highest quality hard-drive based camcorders to date, and CNET’s Sony DCR-SR100 review comes to the same conclusion. They definitely didn’t enjoy the touch-screen menu controls on the smallish 2.7″ widescreen LCD. Other than that the review spoke highly of the SR100.
