Here’s a good digital camcorder find from CamcorderInfo’s blog. The Hitachi DZ-H303 Wooo camcorder records onto your standard MiniDVDs, woop-dee-doo. But wait, the DZ-H303 can also record video onto a built-in 8GB hard drive. This allows for almost two hours of video on the highest quality mode. And it gets better.

The Hitachi DZ-H303 also lets you dub from the HDD to the DVD right on the camcorder. Tape your child’s game, pick the best clips, then burn them to a MiniDVD for playing on your DVD player, right then and there. What a unique idea.

The DZ-H303 also features a 1/3″ CCD, a 10x optical zoom, and a 2.7″ widescreen LCD. It can also take stills at up to three megapixels. Definitely only available in Japan at the moment, but I hope we can see this type of product soon here in the U.S. The price is around $1,130 U.S. (130,000 Yen)
