It was only a matter of time before the top user-submitted stock photography website followed in the footsteps of ShutterStock and the new RevoStock. iStockphoto has introduced iStockvideo, the royalty-free video version of its popular stock photography website.
Clips will range from $5 for 320×240 clips to $20 for DV clips. HD clips will run $35 for 720p and $50 for 1080i footage. These prices will probably shift based on the length, as well. If the referral fee structure remains the same, users will receive a 20% commission for each video that is sold.
