Ulead and Dropshots.com are hosting a comedy video contest. Entries can be just about anything as long as they will make people laugh and are rated PG or less. The winner will receive a brand new Sony DCR-HC96. 10 2nd prize winners will receive Ulead’s DVD Workshop 2 ESD, and all contestants will receive a 15% coupon valid for any Ulead product.
Ulead VideoStudio must be used to edit your piece, and a .vsp file (Videostudio’s project file) must be submitted for verification purposes. If you don’t own a copy of Ulead Videostudio you can always download a 30-day trial version from their website. Entry length must be no more than two minutes and must include:
1. At LEAST 3 shots/clips, edited together with some logic
2. At LEAST one Title
3. Some additional audio/music
30% of an entry’s overall score will be based on creativity, 40% on editing and effects, and 30% on how much it makes the judges laugh. September 15th is the cutoff date for entries. Head on over to the contest page to find out how to enter.
