Remember the Beta vs. VHS war? Are you really that old? Up until now it has looked like we were going to experience the same thing yet again with Blu-Ray vs. HD-DVD. However, it appears that Warner Brothers has applied for a patent on a triple-standard disk. I.E. a disk that would be DVD, Blu-Ray AND HD-DVD compatible. It accomplishes this through mirrors and reflecting lasers, otherwise known as magic.
