If you’re tired of blocky, artifacting video from your digital camera or cell phone camera, check this out. MotionDSP is currently writing software that will enhance that pixelated footage into something worth watching. Video footage is compared over multiple frames to effectively replace pixels that are missing. Obviously certain types of footage are going to work better than others. Anything slow moving will be enhanced better (see the bookshelf example), whereas fast moving video will not be enhanced as much.
