CamcorderInfo has just posted their Sony DCR-DVD305 review. Because the Sony DVD305 and DVD205 share many of the same specifications, they make a good comparison by labeling the DVD305 as a “pimped-out” version of the DVD205. You get the Advanced HAD CCD (less grain overall), surround sound microphone, Memory Stick slot, remote control, and USB 2.0 connection. Video quality was as expected for a DVD camcorder at this price range, and the ease of use Sony brings to the table makes this a decent camcorder overall.
