Panasonic has officially announced the Panasonic HDC-SD1 and Panasonic HDC-DX1 for the U.S. market. These camcorders were announced in Japan almost a month ago, so many of you already know about them if you’ve been keeping track.

The Panasonic HDC-SD1 will record AVCHD footage to SDHC memory, and the HDC-DX1 will record onto MiniDVD. Prices will be set at $1,500 and $1,400 respectively, and you can expect to see both in March, 2007.
