JVC’s Japanese division, Victor Company of Japan, has announced their 2007 lineup of Everio camcorders, which includes a couple not (yet) available in the U.S. Also announced (rather, named, since it was shown at CES 2007) was the JVC CU-VD20U, a DVD burning station that will allow direct dubbing to DVD from Everio camcorders (though unfortunately not the high definition GZ-HD7). It can also be used as an external burner from your PC.

Two new Everio camcorders were also announced. The JVC GZ-MG575 features a 40GB hard drive and is otherwise identical to the GZ-MG555, and the GZ-MG275 also includes a 40GB and is the higher-capacity version of the GZ-MG255.
