I meant to post this a while ago, but it got lost somewhere in the clutter. Focus Enhancements has released version 3.0 of the software that runs the FS-100 DTE device. This new version adds native DVCPRO HD 720/24p, 25p and 30p recording, and QuickTime DVCPRO 50 and DVCPRO HD support for directly importing footage into Final Cut Pro. Focus Enhancements says that this new upgrade will effectively double recording time by only recording the frames it needs to record. The upgrade is available for download at a cost of $39, and if you are buying an FS-100 right now it should ship with 3.0 already installed.
