Panasonic has just announced the AG-HPX500, another in a line of camcorders using solid-state P2 technology for recording footage. The Panasonic AG-HPX500 features three 2/3″ CCDs and will be able to utilize interchangeable lenses. Everything from 1080i to 720p and all standard frame rates can be shot by the AG-HPX500.

The Panasonic AG-HPX500 also features four XLR inputs, a chromatic-aberration compensation function, and eight gamma modes. The camcorder will ship for $14,000 in May, plenty of time to refinance your house to pay for your new toy.
