Digital Trends has posted their Panasonic HDC-SD1 review, and the author was quite taken with the camcorder. He found that low-light quality was great with very little noise, and that, “in bright sunshine your jaw will drop at the quality.” Another admired feature was the 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround Sound microphone found on top of the camcorder, a feature generally reserved for Sony camcorders up to this time. Obviously the reviewer loved the camcorder, so if you are in the market definitely take a look.
