Looks like we will be seeing the Panasonic SDR-S10 a bit sooner than we expected. Panasonic has announced that the S10 will be available in April for an MSRP of $399. An underwhelming camcorder, the SDR-S10 will likely appeal to those on the cheap and anyone looking for a small, light camcorder for shooting in rough conditions.

To recap, the Panasonic SDR-S10 features a 1/6″ CCD, 680K (340K effective) pixels, and utilizes SDHC cards for recording footage. Not the most amazing camcorder, but it won’t break the bank, either.
