RED Digital Cinema has announced the price points for the RED One camcorder. The cheapest I could get it to come out as was $23,000. That is the camera body ($17,500), Basic Production Pack ($1,250), Power Pack ($1,650), LCD screen, ($1,700), and 320GB RED Drive for recording footage ($900). Definitely an investment, but for what you are getting many will find these prices completely worth it. If you have $20-30,000 dollars to spend go ahead and take a look.
