OK, so the Canon HV20 is all the rage these days, but what about its now somewhat overlooked little brother, the HV10? Videomaker Magazine takes the little guy out for a spin in their Canon HV10 review.
The reviewer describes the Canon HV10’s video quality as “top notch.” White balance was accurate in most situations, but noise and grain started to appear as shooting conditions got darker.
The Canon HV10’s microphone was also a bit of a disappointment, as the placement on the top of the camcorder made it hard to record quality audio from over 10 feet away.
