Akihabara News has posted a Panasonic HDC-SD1 review. The reviewer found the HDC-SD1 a pleasure to use for its small size and minimal weight. Color accuracy is described as a bit pale, but on a sunny day the quality was good. Apparently the reviewer did not have much luck with the optical image stabilization as, “…each movement will have its consequence…” Despite this the camcorder is deemed a good product by the reviewer. This is not a very exhaustive review so read it with a grain of salt.
