I am definitely not a fan of these cheap, low-quality “hybrid” camcorders that do everything but wash your dishes. At the same time, they do have their place in the market whether it be for kids or when you need a camcorder that doesn’t hurt the wallet if you are using it in extreme situations. Enter the Mustek DV520T, which sports a 5.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, 2″ LCD screen, and 8x digital zoom.

The Mustek DV520T comes decked out with features including digital image stabilization, voice recorder, and even an MP3 player. Everything is recorded on SD cards, and the camcorder supports up to 2GB cards.

Video is recorded at VGA resolution (640×480) at 30 frames per second. The Mustek DV520T can be connected to your computer via USB 2.0 or to your TV for direct video playback.

Don’t buy the DV520T for quality, buy it for the price, which is only $129.99.

I beg to differ on this comment! I have a DV520T from Mustek, and it works great for me. The quality is nice especially outside. Like most all mini DV cams, indoors, the quality is not as good as the outside due to the apenture size of the lens (sorry very techie person) but all in all i would purchase this camera. Currently Mustek has it on sale at their onlinestore for those who want to believe my tesimony! Thanks for your time!! Great site by the way!!!
