Not quite as much a disappointment as last year’s HD1 review, CamcorderInfo’s Sanyo Xacti VPC-HD2 review takes this hybrid 7 megapixel, HD camcorder through its paces. The color performance has improved dramatically from “neon” to “normal consumer camcorder color space.” However, low light performance and image stabilization are still under par. Also, handling and manual controls on this wafer of a camcorder proved to be a daunting task. Keep in mind that the small, small size of this camcorder could definitely make it worth it for you no matter what.
