CamcorderInfo reviews the Sony DCR-DVD108, finding it to be one of the easiest camcorders to use thus far this year. The main reason for this is the lack of many manual features, which makes it somewhat idiot-proof. However, the reviewer makes sure to remind you that if you want to do any manual controlling now or in the future you will want to steer clear. For those who want to get in, shoot, and get out, the Sony DCR-DVD108 camcorder is probably just the right thing.

Video quality seemed on par with what you can expect from an entry-level camcorder such as the DVD108, which basically means don’t expect too much. But it is what it is, so if you are looking for a cheap camcorder that is about as easy to use as can be, look no further than the Sony DCR-DVD108.
