If you have a dozen batteries that you use for productions but only one or two chargers, you may want to consider the new “Four Zero” charging unit from Dolgin. The “Four Zero” or TC40 has 4 independent charging positions, which can charge batteries from Sony, Panasonic, JVC, and Canon prosumer camcorders.

A typical high-capacity battery (5600 maH) will take 4.5 hours to charge. If you need a faster charge time and want some extra bells and whistles like a LCD display, you may want to check out the Dolgin TC400, capable of charging high-capacity batteries in 3.5 hours.

The Dolgin TC40 costs $395, and the TC400 costs $495.
