Anthony Burokas, a name you will see at the top of many video equipment reviews, has just started his own blog where he has posted a Panasonic AG-HSC1U review. For those who are new to this particular camcorder, it is the Panasonic HDC-SD1 with a different color space, increased aperture, and a 40GB external hard drive device used to offload footage from the SD card.

It is a very thorough, informative and educational review; one of the better reviews I have seen. Did the Panasonic AG-HSC1U make the cut? Is it a “pro” AVCHD camcorder that will be useful to professionals or is it just a more expensive Panasonic HDC-SD1?

The site is still being worked on, but after this first review I am looking forward to seeing what else Mr. Burokas has to say on video production.
