Adobe has announced Audition 3, their latest “all-in-one solution for professional audio production.” This new version offers multi-core processor support and new support for VSTi virtual instruments and MIDI piano roll style editing. Tools like Adaptive Noise Reduction and new phase correction utilities make it easy to salvage bad recordings. New effects and a Spot Healing Brush (like the one in Photoshop) should make this a nice release.
Adobe Audition 3 will be available at the end of the year for $349 for new users and $99 for upgrade.
