Gizmodo and Engadget have some nice hands-on galleries from IFA of the Sanyo DMX-HD1000 and the Hitachi DZ-BD70E and DZ-BD7HE camcorders. These are pics from the floor of the trade fair.

By the way, all the major gadget blogs have labeled the Sanyo DMX-HD1000 as a 1080p camcorder, but the press release lists it as 1920×1080 at 60 fields/second, which would denote 1080i (30 frames/second with two interlaced fields each). So don’t get too excited if you were pining for that 1080p.
