LG has announced a new hybrid HD-DVD / Blu-ray player, called the LG BH200, that might be a great addition to any professional editor’s work studio. For a decent price you can have one player that plays both current HD formats. Apparently this is an upgrade to the BH100 which was lacking in needed features, and, since I never heard of it anyway, just makes the BH200 all the more awesome.

The LG BH200 will ship in October for $999.
