The Videomaker blog has the scoop on a new professional-end, shoulder-mounted camcorder that Panasonic seems to be developing. Really nothing is known at the moment, except that the new Panasonic camcorder is supposed to fit (model-wise) between the Panasonic AG-HPX500 ($14,000) and the Panasonic HVX200 ($6,000). Hmm, what camcorder, between $6K and $14K, could they possibly be planning to compete with?
