Pure Digital Technologies announced today that it would, over the next 5 years, commit itself to giving out 1 million Flip Video camcorders to non-profit organizations. Personally, I would rather see a larger manufacturer give out higher quality camcorders to non-profits. I really don’t see how these camcorders could be of much use, but perhaps this is a step in the right direction. Oh, and did I mention you have to buy one to get one? It’s a one-to-one deal.
